{Hello Kitty}

I am a huge Hello Kitty Fan. Some of my best (and worst) childhood memories include Hello Kitty. My parents couldn't really afford to buy it for me from this store "Coach House Gifts". . . which is now Hallmark . . .or is it Hallmark and Coach House Gifts? Anyways, I had this friend named Erin who always shared her stuff with me. She would give me an occasional pencil or what not. Sweet, huh? Yeah, pencils used to be a hot commodity. I wonder where Erin is these days?

{Severe Sinus Infection}

I just stopped by the office this morning to check e-mail I have been to see Dr. White this morning. He says I have a "severe sinus infection". I dont feel very well at all. I have been sick for about 3 weeks. . .I always put off going to the doctor. Why? I am an idiot. I guess I would rather suffer, which is what I have been doing!

{Praying for you S.W.}

This morning it only seems fitting for my post to be about sweet Noah Walker. Noah is such a doll. I will never forget last year at the Spring Fling my kids ran out of tickets and Noah says, "Here, you can have mine." I just teared up at such a gracious and kind spirit in him. It takes some of us years to be so giving and selfless. He has a big head start. God is going to use him in a mighty-mighty way.

My heart is so heavy for them. Each mile they drive they get closer to knowing what is in store for them. They have had some unbelievable hardships to overcome. Some that would or could cause you to question God. . . but they don't. They consider all things a blessing just as the Word says. I don't know alot, but one thing I know for sure is God has a plan and a purpose for the Walkers. I can already see how God is using their hardships to bless others. They handle all that has come their way with grace. They are kind-hearted. Generous. Loving.

Even amongst all the "turmoil" around them there is just some extra special feeling you get when you are around them.

God uses people who can help themselves and still be willing to do ANYTHING for ANYONE at ANYTIME. . . that describes The Walkers.

Pray for a miracle for them today.

This is my main color choice for the house. I love it. I am going to put it on the walls and ceiling with "double bone" crown. We'll see! I am trying to decide about some wallpaper for laundry room. Other than that I have chose carpet, tile, granite, hardware, and whatever else. Just talking about it makes me tired all over. Excited. . . but tired.

Today I will spend my afternoon doing one of my most favorite parts of my ministry here at FBC. I will witness families making the commitment to raise their children for God. They will all kneel at the alter with open hearts and open minds and ask for Gods strength, wisdom, and courage to do the best they can for his glory.

It doesn't matter how old your children are I would love to challenge you to make this commitment. I would be glad to schedule this for you and your family.

It is a simple time with our pastor. . . with unbelievable rewards.

{Buddy's B.F.F}

{Home Sweet Home}

I had a really great time, but I am so glad to be home!

I was able to learn soem new things, but hands down was the speakers and how they just spoke to my heart. I heard Godly men and women speak about raising our children for God not for Success. Tim Kimmels words pierced like a sharp sword. So true. So right. So important. Why do we ask our kids, "What are you going to be when you grow up?" Are we raising our kids for success? Are we raising kids that are passionate about a God who loves them more than we ever can? The books above are just a few of his things but I think they would be excellent parenting books.
