Happy Easter from The Hobbs!

{Celebrate Jesus}

Today has been such a nice day. I got up early and ran to town. . . just needed a new t-shirt for Easter (funny, huh?). As soon as I got home Lily & I put our aprons on, and started working in the kitchen.
First, we loaded up our "big pot" with eggs."Easy, Easy, be real easy."

We didn't crack any.

Next it was on to Strawberry Shortcakes Butter cream Frosting . . .

for our cupcakes.

After we baked, cleaned up a bit, and dropped and busted a bottle of Tabasco sauce (me did it!) we were off to choir practice.

The kids sound so so sweet.

After choir, off to Bell Park for the Police Dept Egg Hunt.

We had a great time, and the weather was gorgeous.

Blue skies.

Cool breeze.

Sweet smiles.

We are having so much fun

celebrating Jesus!

We've been doing alot of sitting down on the field.

Alot of looking at airplanes.
Alot of waving at mom. . .

But

we are having fun.

And he IS SO EXCITED!

So excited just to get to practice.

I don't think he even realizes there are games.

He is content here.

Just as soon as Lily seen Buddy they clapse hands and didnt let go.I must confess, I didn't exactly plan on attending, but when Lily said, "See you at 11:00 Mom!" as she exited the car this morning. . . I knew there was no question. I was going.
And what a blessing I would've missed.

I don't know what it is with me, but I have noticed every

time I go to the

school for something. . . I get emotional.

What is that?

I think

its mostly

the whole

my time here on Earth is nothing but

a "vapor".

The older I get. . . the more it

rings true.

I am thankful that Lily

was expecting me.

Trees. Beautiful Weather. Sweet Children.

Those are all slices of Heaven on Earth.

Thank you Lord, for the time you give me.

I know it is a gift from you.

"picky" is supposed to be "ki-ki". . . pacifier.

Lily was my only child to take a "ki-ki" and liked to have

killed me to take it away.
