{I really can explain, but still. . .}
My parents are at the Outer Banks (above) as I peck. . .
and
My Sweet Significant Other is in Hawaii (below) as I peck. . .
I do believe I truely inspire people to head for the water.
I just need to make sure I am with them.
Geez. . .

{Celebrating 10 before the 11}
Since my husband will be on a temporary duty assignment on Clayton's birthday we celebrated today. We had a really good time with all of his friends.
God has really blessed Clayton with such good friends.
They are all so special to our family.
10 fingers for 10 precious years. . . that have flown by.
I packed everyone a little lunch the night before.
weren't exactly beautiful.
Holding his ears because the party poppers were very loud!. . .and fun!
The donkey showed up at Clayton's party too. (at his request)
#15 turned him into "Uni-Donkey", which we thought was hilarious!!

Apples. . . per Clayton's request also.
Give the boys a pair of pantie hose, a baseball, and water bottles to knock down. . . priceless.
Way Fun!

Bingo Champion!
A. Johnson & Sis
Checking out the bracelets. . .
This "getting older" may seem to be "getting harder" too. . .
Just tough stuff sometimes. We said "No" to the main gift he wanted (Modern Warfare XBox Game). We also recently said "No" to Pittbull Football. We just really felt the need to protect our family time.
But. . .at this age. Saying "No" is hard, but I know we have done what is best for us (and him) at this time. . .even though its not the popular choice.
His Dad chose to buy him a hunting rifle, and hopefully they can get away and do some hunting together. Clayton and his friend Tristan were already talking about hunting together at his party.
I love you son.
and being your mother
brings me
much joy.
Happy "Double Digit" Birthday!
10
P.S. Clayton, I pray all of our "No's" will greatly enrich your life someday.
{Question for the Day WWJD?}
Have you ever?
Names and Circumstances have been change to protect all parties involved, but none the less, please respond.
Sally, Lisa, & Pam have plans on the calendar to eat meat-loaf on Tuesday.
Lisa & Sally~ " Hey Pam, we are having stir-fry on Saturday."
Pam ~ "Stir-fry on Saturday? I thought we were having meat-loaf on Tuesday?
Lisa & Sally~ "No Pam, we sent you a text to tell you we were having stir-fry on Saturday."
Okay, here's where it gets complicated. . .
The original plans were for meatloaf.
Pam didn't get any kinda' text about a change, and she is fo' sho' bout that.
Pam is also well aware of the fact that Lisa & Sally changed the plans and didn't tell her, but insinuated that it was her fault for not receiving the text. . . Also, keep in mind, incidents as such are fairly common occurrences.
Now that my friends is irritating.
I wonder WWJD?
Seriously.
Jesus was the most kind and compassionate person to EVER walk the face of the planet, but yet, he didn't allow people to walk all over Him. . . . which poses the question. . .
What Would Jesus Do?

{"Blanche" ~ 2 Services}
Unfortunately due to my "funk" I have missed 2 weeks of church. . .
This morning I decided me and the kids would have "church" at home.
Our service included a quilt, Bibles, and my favorite hymnal.
Heavenly Highways????. . . is that it?
We sung, and sung some more.
Later, in the evening I overheard the kids telling their dad about it. . .
Clayton said, "Yeah, I think we had two services."
Okay, that is funny stuff.
P.S. I am feeling much better. I will be at work tomorrow. Thank you friends for food, sweet tea, calls, text, and magazines. I adore you all.
