{Lilys 10th Birthday Party}

I can't believe Lily is 10! I am frightened by how fast time goes by!! Lily has really started growing the end of this school year! She has grown taller and wears a 8! 

She is still a ball of fire. . . And I am still doing my best to be a Godly navigator! Everyday. Everyday. Boys and girls bring so much joy in much of the same ways but they differ in many ways too! Isn't Gods creation amazing?!?

Lilys loves ART! She loves to do crafts 

so I thought. . . Art Party!! I really love to have parties at the house but. . . Art. . . 15 girls. . . Lets have it at the church! I am so thankful we have such a large great space!

I set up 4 tables and the girls rotated to each station!

It was a great time!

These markers are really neat! They have a neon glow to them!

I was afraid the Colored Pencil table would be a bust but it was a fav I think!

The watercolor paintings were so cute! I think we have a lot of Duck Dynasty fans around here! It came out in their masterpieces!

Don't you love the smell of crayons!?!?

The markers looked cool on this fluorescent paper.

Of course I made a Sams run!

Yesterday the truck pulled up. . .

and I held my breath that this couch would fit through the door!

Tonight I am throwing this sweet girl a 10th Birthday Party!

Today she wanted to wear pig tails.

 One high. One low.

 I am so glad she still likes to do some crazy hair days. . . when its not "crazy hair day"!!



{Sunday Snapshots}

I spent much of my day yesterday glued to the TV. . . Glued. I had trouble wrapping my mind around girls being held prisoner in a house for 10 years and asking myself why I ever let my kids leave the house. I know I must trust The Lord to protect my children, but parents have such a burden these days.

While I watched the news I took everything out of my hutch and dusted.

I spied this little craft on Pinterest. So cute!

{A Long Couch Journey}

Here she is!!

 This is my couch...in a truck...on its way here...from Tulsa. 

 I haven't decided if I will give my family permission to sit on it yet.

Good times @ Westwood! Loved that these balloons are a ministry that FBC Lavaca has!!! I am going to look into this for sure !!

{Flip Flop Feet}

I have been proofing our BeAcH PhOtOs tonight! Just letting them scroll while I am in a complete trance. 

Complete Trance. I love them, but I am a horrible picker.

Earlier in the week it was PINK ( you might have seen on IG). . . today the tan/black. Swoon. I cannot wait to wear these.  Its looking sooo bright for me since the snow is moving in here!

I ran this little girls (IG photo fix) legs off today. . .we went to EVERY furniture the surrounding area has to offer.

This couch is SUPER comfortable.  This couch is LONG.  This couch comes in several fabrics.

I really LOVE it! All I can see is. . . flip flop feet.  You know the feet I am talking about?

Dusty on top and black on the bottom. . . those feet on this couch.

But why worry about such?  

Perhaps I should just buy and enjoy . . .

MMmmmm?

{Practical Girl}

I am out couch shopping today....I had my heart set on a tufted couch!!! BUT they are small! And there isn't a small thing about me or my family...Practical Girl keeps arriving on my shoulder. That leather couch is looking better and better....
