were excited to attend lovely breakfast

to honor Clayton (and all the others)

this week.

Clayton is having a great school year, and I am so so thankful.

His grades are good.

His attitude seems in-check. Most days.

His friends seem to be jiving. j-i-v-i-n-g ? sp?

His citizenship must be swell.

His posture doesn't seem to be doing so well.

Don't worry, his Dad talked to him about that. . .he should be straight as an arrow now.

As we were leaving, Mr. Hobbs says, "I know why the kids aren't so crazy about the cafe food."

just as he was saying that. . .

I was thinking to myself, "That was the best breakfast I have had in a long time."
