{True Balm}

swept me away to this blog
Just look at this!

Little Emma English described it as "true balm to my soul".
Last day of school, and as you can see I am daydreaming. . .
Although Reality is fixing to hit as I head to May Day.

Amazingly Amazing Fun.

{Give me 5!}

I had the kids Give me 5 this morning (it was great - the sunshine)!
Only 5 more days kiddos, and I assured them they really don't
have to count
their Fun Days. . .they found a little comfort in that. . .
and the Skittles I packed in their lunch boxes!
Thank Heavens I will have this little clown in my backseat after
"drop-off" for one more year. . .
after that I will be lost as a goose.
Talk Later.

{How High Can You Go?}

Saturday officially felt "summerish" to me.
I lined the kiddos up for sunscreen. . .
and hooked up the fire hydrant sprinkler. . .

after that I pretty much spent the rest of the day. . .
trying not to worry. . .
about the water bill.

Welcome Summer
Outrageous Water Bill.

{Crazy Hair}

Clayton came in my room the
other night and said "How do you like my hair, Mom?"

I said, "I think it's great, son."

{A Pink Sword ~ To: Boy From: Girl}

Look at these cute-e bracelets!
Miss Lauren M. came over sporting them tonite.
When you take them off they are adorable shapes.
Clayton loved the sword.
Later, I found out. . .
she gave it to him.

{Rush to Search ~ Life with a Working Dog}

His phone rang about the Jennylind area
(we were on our way back home)
. . .and it was on.
We were in a hurry.
Pulled in the like this. . .
And Mr. Will was in our driveway waiting to head out.
Me. . .
Um, you think I could get a few pictures?
(While Brad loads up the dog)
Off they go. . .
Haven't seen him since. . .

{What should we name our "Blanche"?}

I might get to have lunch with my long lost friend Sherry D. tomorrow.
I am going to have to change the name of my blog to Kellys Korner. . .
I am having so many lunch dates. . . (she aint got nothing on me, huh SM? wink wink)
I also found a "Blanche" right here in our hometown. Oh yeah, she's a beauty.
A real knock-out. I'll snap a few pics as soon as I can.
As soon as I get her MUG I will let you guys help me name her. . .

{Parks & Pools}

When I was in CA earlier this year we visited Balboa Park.
I don't think I ever shared.
It is the nations largest urban cultural park.
It is a "must see" in
the San Diego area.
It is full of
and beautiful

There are also
some very interesting people.
Some with very interesting
pets. As you will see below.
I loved the arches.
Stairways, and
this door.

On another good note, I had a great time visiting with friends today at lunch.
They were celebrating "no more MDO". Well, that's not really a celebration. . . maybe just taking the last chance to take full advantage? Anyways it was nice. I didn't take any pictures but I thought these would be appropriate for our
"Summer Swimming Attire".

Heres to the pool!

{Friends listen & love}

I had lunch with these ladies last week.
Marca, Leesha, & Rachel (Miss Molly L. too ) are good to me. Do you know what I mean?
There are people in your life that are just good to you (I am blessed to have several), and these ladies are.

They listen to me.
They love me (if not, they pretend very well).
They support me at my "job".
Love & Support. . . I need those things.
