{We are Prized Possessions}

My house is quiet.
I could hear a pin drop.
My company is gone.
Some are nestled back in their cozy country home.
The others are back home safely in Little Rock.
I have Josh Wilson's Fall Apart streaming through my head, and
I desperately want to read my Bible.
  Do you feel that need when
you haven't spent quality time with God in a few days?
Man, I do.
I need my time with HIM.
I miss HIM.

Do you have the New Year on your mind?
Need to make some changes?
 Want to make some changes?
Are you having to make some changes without having a say in the matter?
Do you need to welcome some change here and there in your life?
I always love and am thankful for a new year.  I love that "clean slate" feeling.
I love that fresh, new feeling that comes with a new year.

I thought I would touch on CHANGE since it is "ringing" true to me. . . .

pg 80
The truth is God uses change to change us.  He doesn't use it to destroy us or to distract us but to coax us to the next level of character, experience, compassion, and destiny.  I hate to display such a firm grasp of the obvious, but how will we ever change if everything around us stays the same? Or what will ever cause us to move on to the next place He has for us if something doesn't happen to change the way we feel about where we are?  God is thoroughly committed to finishing the masterpiece He started in us (Philippians 1:6), and that process means one major thing:  change.

Don't be misled, brothers and sisters.  Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens.  He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.  He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word.  And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.

{Merry Christmas Sweet Friends}

I have everything "wrapped" up and ready to go!
Our Family Festivities start tonight and will likely last
all week! We are going to church tonight and in the morning because
we are excited to celebrate Jesus Birthday!
(I bought a Recess Cake!! Yummmy!)
The Bike!! Merry Christmas to me! The Mr asked why I was bringing it
in the house. . . I had to explain you don't ride Beach Cruisers. . .
you decorate them and put them in your bedroom.
What was he thinkin'?

{Trooper}

Last week I took Sweet Lily for a consultation about her teeth...
and we left with braces!
She was so excited!
(until that night and next morning)
She was a trooper!
So far so good!
She hasn't complained since the first couple of days.
I am really happy for her.

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. Psalm 20:4

{Team Ball & Dinner Dates}

Football Season ended....some time ago....but I didn't share much about our
season or end-of-year party. We had a good season.  We didn't win any games but
Clayton learned alot and made some new friends.
At their party Clayton was named MVP for the season, and
they gave him the team ball.  Really neat.
The Williams Boys have been eating with us on Wednesday Evenings and
we have enjoyed their company so much.
Much is about to change for
our Middle School Students at church as we change leadership.
I am excited to see how God continues to work in our young peoples lives.

{Satan in his Sateen Form}

This is me.
at.
Me Pre-Op.
I made it with "Satan Sateens" for 3 months.
They are really no fun.
I guess, me, being the Big-No-Brain-Bird I am. . . didn't really get that this was
"Surgery".  Who knew?
I didn't think they did "surgeries" in pretty offices....but they do.
                              I mean I am not having a kidney removed, but I am a tad anxious now.
Who wouldn't be anxious after wearing these blue exam shorts?
(Yes, they are one size fits all. . . thank GOODNESS they fit. . . )
(Unfortunately they weren't that BIG on me....)
(Oh well....)
The event will happen in February.
and.

P.S. Dr. Saltiel is a trip.

{The Switch-a-Roo}

How about some art work from my Sweet Buddy?!
Santa is pulling his sleigh with none other than . . . lady bugs!
Oh my, pitter patter goes my heart.
Creative, huh?
I haven't talked about my Bible Study in a bit. . .
Well, this is it! Love.Love.Love.
Who knew? Well. . .God did.
Its just a Miracle Moment every time I turn around.
God is doing some amazing things in my life. . .He is hard at work!
Introooo-duuuu-cinggg. . .Zippy Ring!
We love our Zippy Ring and this little creature is teaching
Buddy his "Sight Words"!
He hangs in a special place (since he is), and we don't want to lose him.
The Mr. bought the kiddos a fun project, but we haven't had a chance to
get started! Why? Because we are in The Christmas Carol, a play my church
will be performing this weekend! It is sure to be a treat. So come see me
at "Fred's Party"! I even have a line! 2 Words to be exact!
I feel like I didn't say much about Thanksgiving. . .it was wonderful.
I hosted it this year, and our house was full of family!
Just the way I like it.
Plenty of food and Plenty more to be thankful for.
Did you see the place cards?
Kids made those. Adorable.
Simple Table, but highly effective.
Well, off I go to switch-a-Roo clothes.
Washer to Dryer to Couch.
Its a game I play, often.
See ya!
