{My Move}

I am heading here in the morning.  I will be attending this conference.

Heres a snippet. . .

For the fifth year in a row, thousands of leaders will gather in Atlanta to talk, not only about what they are learning, but what they feel compelled to do about it.

These are leaders who dare to rethink and who are willing to move in radical ways to influence the next generation.
Some have created unique churches.

Some have sacrificed immensely to rescue those in crisis.

Some have launched innovative ministries.

Some have recently stepped out of their comfort zone,

to start over.
They are pastors, leaders, parents, educators, and innovators who have a burning passion for the faith of the next generation.
We want to invite you to join them.
So now, it’s your move.

I am making my move.
Talk soon.

Thank you for the loan Heather!

{Treble Makers = Happy Heart}

The guys.
Clayton & Collin
I think the stained glass looked so pretty Sunday night.
Let me just say, these kids brought tears to my eyes.
It was the most beautiful sound.
Mental note: I want a childrens
 choir at my funeral. . .just in case I go before
The Mr. y'all tell
I am so so proud of these two.
They make my heart melt.
They make my heart swell with joy.
The make my heart happy.

{What if your healing comes through tears. . .}

Kelly couldn't have been more right when she said, "you might need to hear this song". I do.  This has been a rough few weeks. . .  I have cried and cried. . . and have such a sea full of emotion.  In the midst of the storm, I failed miserably.  Something simple. Big Mistake.  I confessed, but continue to beat myself up.  It reminded me how eyes are on me, watching, waiting. . .I have fixed my eyes back on My Heavenly Father. . ..(tears) . . .why I took them off for that split second. . . I don't know.
Oh how sorry I am.  What a reminder for me though. . . always do the right thing. . . even if it hurts!! Didnt I say that. . .once. . .or twice???

I am going to pick myself back up & shake the dust off.

I have some friends that are hurting. Will you pray for them?

I don't understand why things happen the way they do, but I do understand its not my place to know or understand anything. My God sees.  Sees everything. And he is in control.  He is bigger than any problem or circumstance.

"Oh Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. . . You know everything I am going to say before I even say it. . . Lord, such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to know! Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts.  Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life." Psalm 139

Lord help me. . .

Although you cant make out the sign (bright sun, moving car, etc), we
are up to 7 rabid skunks.
Other thoughts for the day. . .
  • That was a heck of a storm last night.
  • My phone is working. Well, not my one phone, but another phone. Whatever works.

{Around My Town}

I like it.
  I like the old  fishing boat attached
to the back of it too.
 I would've snapped it, but this was kind-of
a "drive-by shot", if you know what I mean.

{Sweet Little Guy}

He said, "But Mom my shoes were squeaky!"
Little Guy took matters into his own hands.
He sprayed his shoes down with WD-40.
Apparently they squeak when he walks in our
church nursery.

{My Stuff}

Hanging out with Mom at work.
I love that book, and heres a little knowledge for you. . .
In Bible days
new-born babies were rubbed with salt and wrapped up in "swaddling clothes" - like
wide bandages.  People believed that this would help a child's legs and arms grow straight.
My desk at work is. . . messy.
Honestly, I like a messy desk.
I like all kinds of things and stuff around me.
I am a digger. I like to dig.
I am not a big fan of stacks.
but I have alot of stacks.
Stacks & Doodles.
I love my doodles.
and my pictures.
and my notes.
and my books & music.
and my shells.
I like to take the beach with me wherever I go.
Chocolate & Lotion.
More notes.
I purchased these adorable little Cat Keyboards last week.
I think the kiddos liked them.
Talk Soon.

{In My Next Life}

Last week Shaina invited me to lunch at one of my most
My little hands found little shells.
I love this place.
I drive thru and do my "Lake Lot Lookin" probably about. . . oh. . . I'd say. . .
about 3 times a week.
That figure might be a tad conservative.
Water.Sand.Swing Sets. Pinic Tables.
It's dreamy.
And believe it or not. . . it's in Greenwood
But the great thing about it. . . you dont feel like you are in Greenwood.
I think thats why I like it so much. (:
The man above is the perfect picture of Sheer Determination.  It was so loud with
our crew the poor guy wasnt ever going to catch a fish, but he kept on trying.
I love that. . . Never Quit. . . just move on. And he inventually did move on down the bank a bit.
Clayton was in Heaven the whole day.  He skipped rocks, played basketball,
and dug in the sand.
He had tears when we left. . . he's my boy.
I always cry when vacation is over.
(In my next life I will be on permanent
I will wear a big brimmed hat.
and drive one of these.

Thank you Shaina (and Barb!) for a great day!
