{Games & Laundry}

It kind-of slipped my mind how hard baseball is before school lets out.
This is my little guy hoping and praying his jersey will be dry before game time.
Let the games & laundry begin!

{Rest & Relaxation? That is the Plan}

I am thinking I am extremely emotional today since that squirrel that lost his life in a tragic
way brought tears to my eyes (ya'll see it in the Westwood Drive?). And I am thinking I might be

out of sorts when I was on the phone with Mandi W. and she told me she was folding laundry and
I thought, "Oh no, now I feel like I need to be folding laundry too since we cant see our couch around here". . .
Minus a fun lunch date, and my usual fun with my 3 yr old class on Wednesday nights my week

has kinda' been a dud. Kinda' stressful. Sooo, I pledged to somehow relax today. My family can
only hope at some point I find cleaning the kitchen and laundry similar to a spa visit, because if not, I just cant do it.
I already brewed me some fresh sweet tea. I have my cozy pants on.

I might go to sleep.
I might not.
I might go antiquing.
I might not.
I might clean.
I might not.
I might watch a movie.
I might not.
All I know for sure is I am going to try to rest a little!
P.S. Pictures are at a restaurant we ate at on the way home from FL last year. I don't think I ever posted them? Isn't that fern amazing? I think so.

{The Final Chapter}

Thursday Eve marked the last chapter for "PTO Singing Programs" for Clayton.
At this point in their little 9 yr old lives. . .

Some still love and show excitement. . .

Others just go through the motions, and do the best they can out of force
(my sons falls in this category). . .

But none the less, when it was all over they got to see their friends, and celebrate. . .
"Never again!!"
. . . and from my observation that appeared to be the best time for them.

{Spring Fling}

Last night, Lily & I headed out to Spring Fling together.

We had a really good time.
Holding hands.
Talking.
Walking from room to room.
Lily was so gracious.
She thanked me over and over for bringing her.
She got a pink & purple "do".

It is beautiful.

Weeeeee!
The hair color has lasted well into today. . .
Looks really pretty with her new crown from McD's.
Unloading from McD's. . .
A few moments in the house, and she was transformed again!

{Oh dear. . .}

What to do? Who wants to volunteer to tell her?

For the time in history, I didn't like what Grant L. said. . . Lily is to old to play on Buddy's team. Somehow we missed that. I thought she couldn't be 7 before May 1st. The commissioner emailed him this morning. . . is our form at the church confusing? Okay, I know, probably just to me.

Oh dear, now what to do my sweet mommy friends?

2nd year team is full . . .

Mmmmm. . .

{Little Worker Buddy}

We have much, much action next door. . .
Buddy is lovin' it!This morning he requested his breakfast to be served outside.

He had a "birds eye view" of what is going on.

He even has his
tools ready
in case they need
some help.

It's going to be a great day in "Buddy World".
Isn't that just the sweetest?
Ahhh, I think so.
Talk Later.
