{Worms for the Birthday Boy}

This morning I woke up Buddy with much cheer and singing!
Happy Birthday!
After I got everyone off to school, I came home and put some
"Worms" in "Dirt".
It must have looked like "Worms" in "Dirt" because many
of the kids were quite skeptical.
Some too afraid to even try it.
Lovely.
Not Buddy.
He ate all his worms and all his dirt.
Happy Birthday my Sweet Little Boy.
6 years old.
My-O-My.

{Have y'all noticed?}

I was wondering if y'all have noticed WalMarts new line of
party products. . .
Sweet! Sweet! Sweet!
I thought so anyways.

Speaking of birthdays. . . my baby is going to be 6 tomorrow.
Oh my.

{84th Birthday}

Last Saturday Brads Grammy celebrated her 84th.
She is PRECIOUS.
She has looked exactly the same since I have known her.
I wish we would/could spend more time with her. . . where does time go??
Sweet, Sweet Lady.
She is loved and adored by everyone!
DeAnna (Brads Sister), Emma Jean (Grammy), Brian (Brads Brother), and The Mr.

{"Mom, this is a good day isnt it?"}

Look! Buddy's first bus ride. Yes, tears came, but I got myself together
before I entered Fair Civilization.
We had the best time together.
Walking and Looking.
Looking and Talking.
(I am not sure who tucked in his shirt?
Maybe him?
Maybe Mrs. Cox?
The thing does go to his knees. Cutie.)
We both liked this prize-winning watermelon.
The "tractor tipping" tractor.
Checking out all the animals. . .
smelly animals, might I say.
A monkey got on his back, snatched his water bottle, and turned
the thing up and drunk it!
Crazy.
I stopped breathing.
Buddy didn't even flinch.
He is officially our most laid-back child.

Lots of little hands. Sweet.
 Buddy said, "Mom, this is a good day isnt it?"
I said, "It sure is, Buddy."

Its so neat watching your kids grow, learn, and make new friends.

{Pray for Charles}

Before school started  I had the opportunity to serve a meal
at the Salvation Army.
I enjoyed working alongside these amazing women who love the Lord.
I am thinkin' A. Hancock might be one of my H-E-R-O-E-S.
She has an amazing testimony and is doing great things for God.
When the song says, "Here am I, send me." she aint just humming along to the beat.
She is on GO. GREENLIGHT.
I asked her how long she has been coming to FBC Greenwood and she said
about 2 years. Man-O-Man. What regret I had.  I should've been
soaking up her friendship like a sponge.
She will be leaving for Belize soon.
My Sweetie Sherry.  I think the both of us wanted our
kiddos to have an opportunity to wear Jesus skin.
and they all did so great!  They were so helpful and kind.
I really pushed Buddy, he was shy and timid at first.  I asked him
to give everyone a napkin, and he was very hesitant, but when he ran out he
ran full speed to me to get some more.

I plan on going back soon and I hope to take some families from the nursery and
my Sweetie Shaina.

God is doing great things through the Salvation Army here.
Will you join me and pray for Charles, the director there?

{MIXER LOVE & SANITY SAVER}

My Sweetie Sister Carla let me borrow her MIXER!
 Can  you have a love
relationship with a MIXER?
 Yes.
Score!
Good Mail Day.
In Buddys World:
Today was YELLOW day at K.
We didn't have a YELLOW shirt. . .
Hudson to the rescue!
Thank you Shaina!
NO STAINS!
I can return it with my head held high!
In Lily's World:
School is going great. She does have much homework. . . oh my.
She has decided she is going to collect "eraser shavings" in a Ziploc.
She is off to a great start!
In Clayton's World:
School is great! He is off to a great start on the reading!
Impressive.
In my world:
I caved and bought prepackaged snacks.
More expensive, but
SANITY SAVER.

{An Old Flame Burning}

This morning I was listening to one of my most favoritest pastors, and
stumbled upon this statistic as of now.
1 in 4
20%
of marriages end as of a result of reconnecting with an old friend
on
facebook.

Just thought I would pass along that sadness. . .

{I lifted this, but none-the-less. . . excellent.}

"When you decide to live out what you believe. When you decide you want peace in your possession, then you will find out what that looks like & feels like. You begin to pray for God to give you peace. You incorporate peace in your relationships. You decide to respond differently. You speak in love. Act in tenderness. You imitate what you know about peace until it becomes a reality for your character & your life."

{The Mommy Gig}

My little Buddy was the first one to hop out of bed this morning.  He had his
clothes laid out in perfect form the night before.  It was just precious.
After I dropped off the kiddos, I went to the gym.
I found myself just sitting on the edge of the weight bench. . . missing Buddy.
After the gym and a quick shower I headed to Ft Smith to deliver a baby gift.
I swung in Brooken Hill for some coffee, and seen Ronald.
Ronald made me think of who? Yes. Buddy.
Got a pedicure. Soaked my feet as I stared at the
 chair Buddy would always sit in while he waited
for me.  I wanted to stop in the antique store, but I just couldn't do it.
Buddy and I always talk and talk while we shop.
He would always try on all the hats we would find.
I passed up that torture and headed for the Christian book store.
It should be harmless and I shouldn't see anything that would cause a major melt-down.
I browsed at all the books (one of my most favoritest things to do).  I stumbled upon
The Christian Mama's Guide to Having a Baby. Really?
 Maybe its about baby care. or baby this. or baby that.
BUT I work in a church nursery and Christian women don't need any instructions on how to have
babies.  They do it quite well. I bet lost people think Christians need a book for everything.
We do. . . but its 1 book. . . called The Bible.
I spotted every single mans battle.
Isn't that what our men are doing on Wednesday Nights?
 I purchased a GIANT PRINT BIBLE. I adore it.
And since I am blind it is going to make my quiet times much
more effective. I can only squint for so long.
I need to purchase this, and those of you who are in Bible Study with me
know that I cant purchase any more books until I read the 5 I have going.
Per R. Deal. So I will keep this in my memory. Nevermind, I don't have a memory.
So, I guess my attitude will need to improve without reading a book about it.
Well, just when I thought I was safe. . .I heard VeggieTales.
and.
I missed Buddy.
I have decided for sure this "Mommy Gig" aint getting any easier. . .

{We had a Ball!~ Walker Birthday Week}

We had a really great time today celebrating Sweet Shannon's Birthday today!
I seen them coming with this hat. . .now if you know Shannon. . .that was some funny stuff!
We love you Shannon.
You need to get crackin' on your book, movie, or reality TV show!
It would be A-list, Top-Shelf AMAZING!
WE LOVE YOU!

Now. . . lets get this party started!

{1st Day of K for Buddy Boy}

These two had a "great" day!
She is so sweet and explains every little detail so they
will understand what to do.
Love.It.
Carson was so so excited.
I cried last night.
I cried this morning. (not in the school building)
Last night (I TRIED NOT TO) I started crying when I was tucking Buddy in bed and
he said, "Its okay, Mommy, I will stay home with you if you want me to."
Oh.My.Word.Precious.Little.Soul.
Unpacking.
Love the picture above because I can tell he is grinning ear to ear.
He didnt want The Mr and I to walk him in!
He walked way ahead of us.
Heartbreak.
Buddy and Dr.Cop Stew
Car Ride.
Bright Sunshine Morning Shot.
One excited little boy! Ready for K!
(pictures are obviously backwards. . . I used to be so good at getting that right!)
 (ad that to my list of epic fails)
Great job Buddy!
Mom and Dad are so proud of you!
