{#5}

My little 4 year old Buddy (above) turned 5 today.
We celebrated today with an "After School Party".
I am famous for scheduling at odd times, but in this household we just do the best we can.
He enjoyed his ice cream cake. It was yummy.
Mom just didn't get the baking done this time. . .
I wonder if Lily is telling him what to "wish" for, or
if she is reminding him to "make a wish"?
Mmmmm? At least he is smiling.
He is like is big brother. . . A Lego Lover.
Cutie-pie shoes from Hud.
Saying, "I am 5 today!"
Toy Story a big hit, and he scored some new "dress up" digs.
(He still is known to be a different character from day-to-day)
Lily & I made this poster for him.
Lots of sets of 5 things. . .
5 flowers
5 smiles
5 lemonades. . . just to name a few.

We had a great time with our friends!
Buddy, you are a special boy!
We love you!
Happy #5 Birthday!

{The School Scene}

Sights
from
a cool
school.
If Buzz and Woody are there. . .
you cant go wrong.

{Ready to go to a Party!}

This little guy is
on his way to a

birthday party tonight, and
he has been excited all day. . .
pictures to prove his "is it time yet??" question expressions.

{Dad's Happy Hula Girl}

He's Back.
He brought home "sweet girl" a couple of dresses.
I do believe he enjoys buying her dresses.
He bought her one for Valentines Day a couple of years ago.
He didnt miss any details. . . they came complete with
a flower for her hair.
She is one Happy Hula Girl.

{Life is Good}

Last Night I welcomed my husband home
&
Today I am going to have lunch with my friends.
Life is good.

{Heather Goodwin}

As I was reading Darby's http://www.flythroughourwindow.com/ post today, I immediately thought of you and your gorgeous ferns. . .

Perhaps you should rent out some garage space for the winter?

I seen you parked on the highway. I knew what that meant. . .
#1 MDO started again.
#2 You were having fun. . . and I wasn't.

I text Mrs. SW and she wasn't having fun either, so I wasnt alone.

All work, no play.

Talk Later.
Love, Tonia

{No Fun}

I found absolutely no "Fall Fun" to get into the other day. . .

Today neither. . .
Funeral.
Staff Meeting.

{Waking up to rain. . .}

is wonderful!
What a blessing it is.
I am in the mood to buy a pumpkin. . . or something.
I am jumping the gun a tad, but I am going to have to do
something to fulfill my "fall mood" today.
Off I go. . .

{A Summer Boy at Heart}

A little swim
&

fun with
Hot Wheels.

{Snip-Snip}

A
Sweet

Little
Short
Cut.

Sis & I
love it.

{2nd ~ 4th ~ Repeat ~ Fast Forward}

I realize now I didn't get the best
"first day of school photos", so we may
have "first day photos, again, on the second day".

Lily picked right back up where she left off last year. . .
near impossible to get-out-of-bed.
Up at last, hair-do complete.
Gathering our things, heading to the car. . .
A few shots in the Bright Morning Sun!
(which ya'll know they love)

1/2 way down the street.
No lunch.
Back to the house. . .
"Run in and grab it Clay!"
Sweet little color sheet waiting on Lily as she arrived.
Her teacher is adorable
&
Her room smells like cupcakes.
Perfect.
This guy has the cutest teacher in the 2-state-region.
Instead of talking about what he would learn. . .
we talked about what color she would be wearing.
Pink, we thought.
But.
She was wearing a gorgeous shade of sky blue.
Funny, I know. But Clayton appreciates things like that. . .in a super cute way.
Plus, he had "belly cramps" and my crazy small talk seemed to help matters.
And for the little guy. . .
back to Mrs. Bakers.
He filed in like a complete professional. Not quite the same little skip
he had last year, but was excited. He said they read
The Little Engine Book. . .a classic. . . just like Mrs Baker herself.
Kindergarten will be here soon enough, so in the meantime enjoy
being on "repeat" because everything else is on "fast forward"
from here on out.
