Last night when I discovered Lily was running fever, I immediately sprung from bed, dressed, and headed to the ER. I knew she had been exposed Friday night, so I was a little apprehensive. Today my shoes are shiny like new because they received the gift of vomit along with my pants. And the outcome. . .flu. . .Relenza. . . a hospital stay until 4:30.

Unfortunately, she also has the nausea and vomiting. . .So I fired up the "Sanitary" Cycle. That dude is 3hrs, and runs with hot hot water.

I have created a monster in my hall. . .

because I striped all the beds. . .

I even used Lysol in the car. . .

Stock piled on chicken noodle. . .

I was very concerned about it spreading Buddy (and Clayton), but I didn't have to fret long because the poor little fellow had it by morning too. So because the little ones couldn't make it to the bathroom, I had Mr. Hobbs drag em' a mattress in the kitchen, with a birds-eye view of the TV. I know it seems a little odd, but now they can just "let it rip" . . .

They are doing so-so. We are trying to cater to their every need. Popsicles, sprite, water, tissues, you name it, we've got it.

I am still a little confused about "type A", "Swine". . . but Dr. Barton said they both have the Swine FLU. . . I am just heart broken. I am also heartbroken for 1/2 the world that was at my house on Friday Night. So please accept my apology again. I hate it so bad.

Please continue to pray for my little ones, and know that I am praying for yours.
Love,
Super Mom

Oh your poor kiddos! I'm desperately praying that we can avoid it this year...especially while I am pregnant. Totally off the subject, but where did you get the canvas over Carson's bed? I need one made for the baby's room...
Yes, I sure hope you all can. It is spreading like wild fire. Girl that exposed us was exposed Thursday, she had it by Saturday, we had it by Sunday. . . Lauren Meeker is at the doctor as we speak, she was with us Friday night. I am just heart broken for all of these babies.
Angela painted the sign. She is one of my heroes.
Oh Tonia! Prayers for you and the babies.
Tonia: don't you dare spend another moment fretting about Friday night. Everyone will be fine and just let us know if we can do anything at all for you guys!!! xoxoxo!
I agree totally with Shannon!!!
