{Amazing day in the Jordan}

During devotion with the kids this morning we were reading about John baptizing followers of Jesus. I was flooded with emotion. As I read how Jesus came to John asking him to baptize him. God just gave me this amazing visual, and here came the tears! Oh, what a day. Oh, what a sight. Jesus had no sin, but wanted to baptized to show others what John was teaching was true. Oh, to be John. Oh, to hear God's voice as he came out of the water.
"This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."
One day I will see Jesus face. I am going to tell him that I love him. He is going to tell me, "I love you, too." (more tears) . . .
Oh, what a day.
Talk Later.

The picture above is the Jordan River.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved."

{Memory Lane ~ It aint easy being cheese-e}

I remember this day like it was yesterday! I just don't remember how he managed to get the Cheetos in the bathtub. . . yes, moms, I obviously left him unattended for a moment . . . or two.
Bad Mom.
Cheetos loving Baby.

P.S. This is off the subject, but have you ever been doing something else and try to get a drink while looking away, forgot you had a straw, and it went up your nose? Ouch.

{Memory Lane ~ Starting out in Old Yellow}

I still remember sitting on the front porch hearing the wind blow this nylon flag. I love our new home, but still have fond memories of "old yellow". Its just "Roots". Having babies. Eating sandwiches. Talking about bills. Lots of Laughs. Tears. Hearing the screen door slam. Using the plunger in the tub. . . just about everyday. Mowing a big yard. Big Trees. Hearing every word spoken from whatever room you were in. Joining the Air Force. Getting a Police job. Ants. Laundry outside under carport. No health insurance. Me cleaning houses and working at CobbleStone. Wreaths on front door with bird nest. Kids playing in the sand box. Sand on the tile floors. Roots. . .

it is just to say Hello. I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday. I like to post everyday. Even if it is simple. Nice to see ya Sherry! Looks like Memphis treated ya well.
Today was church. Nursery good. Health good. I hear Bro. Jeff's message was wonderful. I will be checking that out tomorrow. . .

Great lunch. Sweet friends over. Life is good. God is good.
