The Mr and I had such a good day! We kinda' needed it. . .

I don't know if he has been over-tired  or stressed, but something. . .

I wanted to go to the Speck-O-Farm to make sure the gates were closed (deer hunters),

and after we did that we decided to drive to Blue Mountain. Since Brad isn't from

here he doesn't know about all the lovely water holes on this side of AR.

(He isnt real impressed with our local spots since he came from lake heaven). 

We ended up at Mt Magazine Lodge.

(What a smile!)

Have you been there?

We loved it! 

We ate lunch at the restaurant.

We were seated at the most perfect little

table for two in the corner. 

What a view!!!

Love that saying.

Can you imagine sitting everyday on the porch watching the leaves turn more and more golden?

What a perfect dream.

We hope to go back and stay a night or two or three. 

Brad thought the Governor might have been there today because the State Police helicopter

picked someone up with a security detail. 

We really had a nice day.

We talked.

and

talked.

And I did my best NOT to talk about the kids or work.

Have you ever tried  to do that? 

Be intentional and try it.

(Many of the marriage books advise it)

It can be a challenge. . . for me anyways. 

I am very thankful for today.

It was nice.

Nice days are good things.

{Around My Town}

This was a very interesting moment worth documenting.

This rather large horse fly adorned my windshield for quite some time.

Seeing him move his little legs was fascinating.

{Because I am the Mom, I can do that}

My house will be more quiet this week. . . I deemed it "No TV or Electronic Devices" Week. 

I drug out all the board games and set them out in the living room. 

Me and the kiddos played games for hours Sunday afternoon, and by 

yesterday The Mr got involved and we had a Connect 4 championship. . .he won of course.

What BRAIN Power he has! lol! 

Anyways, I challenge you to try it!

Granted its only Tuesday, but so far we have had a ball!!

Today is my moms birthday!

Buddy was so excited his picture was in the paper.

So So excited!! 

I hated I missed his yummy breakfast, but he had a good

time with his dad. 

He is loving school. . . doesnt miss me a bit! (Boo-hoo-hoo) 

He is turning into such a little HaM!

He makes me laugh! 

He is still very unsure about Show-n-Tell, but Mrs Cox is

working on him. 

Good job Son!

We "Booed" our neighbors last 

night! As you can see we had fun!

Man-O-Man, if I was Tyler's Mom I might have to make a dress out of the

Razorback Flag and wear it everyday.

I was hoping I would get a chance to explain myself. . . yes. . .Why is she wearing her

PTO t-shirt?

Wha? She's in the PTO? She never comes to the meetings. . . oh geeze.

BUT I didn't get a chance because photos surfaced on facebook first.

Biggest shirt I had. AND. I wanted as much covered as possible.

So there you have it.

Okay, I was seriously skeptical.  Wha? A ropes course?

Seriously? Have you seen my body lately?

BUT.  It. WAS. Amazing.

Fun.

Awesome. AND very Challenging. 

I had a blast.

Once I let go of my size and weight. . .and just focused on team-building (the whole point, ya know?)

It was wonderful!

We had to balance. . . 

Stay focused. . . 

Trust. . .and fit through small holes!!!

OMG. The G is for Goodness. 

We had to get the tire on the pole and then. . .back off.

We passed. 

Most Athletic goes to. . .  

G-Lowe, of course. 

It was a wonderful experience!

When you can let go of all your human thoughts and feelings of your physical

self, focus on the task at hand, and seek out what God has in-store

for you. .  .You will be Limitless.
