{Hard Decisions}

Over Spring Break we had
to make some really hard decisions . . .
Sprinkles or No Sprinkles?
Chocolate or Maple Bar?
Sour Cream Cake or Raspberry filled?
It was tough.
But.
We managed.

{The Eggers}

I heave-ho'd (he is solid concrete) this little guy a'top my mailbox.
and then I immediately thought of The Eggers.
They visit about
once every three months, and shower us with eggs
and profanities on our vehicles (actually The Mr's).
Now, I like my car, but I pretty much
have a love relationship with rabbits so I
hope they will spare the little guy and not
see fit to knock him off.

Best Wishes Little Rabbit.
May you remain standing holding your basket for many years.

{"Wrapping Up" my "Birthday Week"}

I have had the most excellent week.
Although, this evening I feel a little under the weather. . . perhaps its the crazy weather?
My head hurts.
and.
My nose is running away.
I received some of the most precious gifts from my friends.
My Momma got me those yeller' tumblers from the Wal-Mart. . .whhhyyy, they are just the
greatest thing since sliced bread.
I am a prefer plastic over glass kinda' girl.
So those are just "real nice".
Love my frame. Love my gift certificate. Love my fountain. Love my necklace.
Love my cards. You know I love my cards.
These two are just a hoot!
Kayla & Rachel.
Love them to pieces too.
Good-Bye "Birthday Week"!
See ya' next year.

{My Days are Orchestrated By a Master Planner}

Clayton says, "But Mom we dont have enough candles."
"It's okay, son. We have plenty enough", I said.
My thoughts on getting older. . .I don't mind it.  Really.  It doesn't bother me.
  Fading youth is not a bad thing to me.
Wisdom comes with age. . . and I was a really dumb teenager.
And to be completely honest, I was still pretty dumb in my early 20's too.

 I still am not the sharpest tool in the shed, but. . .
I don't have to have the last word.
I cherish people.
I know when to keep my mouth shut (and hope by the time I am 40 I can actually do it).
I laugh alot more than I fight or cry.
I do my best to make wise choices.
I now know my Momma was right about alot of things.
I rely on God to meet my needs. . .not man.
I love to listen.
I love to talk (and hope by the time I am 40 I will listen more than I talk).
I enjoy the birds, green grass, and trees.
I know when to walk away, even if it hurts. . . as long as its right.
Doing right is more important to me than being popular or even liked.
I dont mind being alone. I like being alone.
I like hard work.
I appreciate food on the table, and understand what it takes to put it there.
I like my big hands, and the way they are starting to wrinkle.
I enjoy music. Even Classical.
I adore my family.
I cherish each moment. Every Minute. Every Second.

O' the awe of youth,  I am in no way trying to hang on to it.
And if they bottled it, I wouldn't buy it.
This world is not my home.
And my days are numbered.
Orchestrated, actually.
By a Master Planner.
With a Master Plan.
I.am.thankful.for.every.single.day.He.gives.me.
if I am 34 or 74, I will be thankful.
And I will be ready. . . to go home.
For I now know what it means to "live eternally".
and for that, I am eternally grateful.

Happy Birthday to me.
Thank you God for another year.

{"This is your Birthday Week", Rachel said}

Birthday Week?, wow, I never thought of it that way. . .
Tomorrow is my birthday, and a little slice of the beach has been delivered to me
everyday so far!  How precious are my friends!?!
Precious. For. Sure.
This is my sweet friend Rachel. What a testimony her life is!
Ask her about her "nursery testimony" sometime.  God worked a miracle!
She was a hater (LOL!). . .
Perhaps tomorrow I will share with you about how
I feel about getting older.
Thank you friends!

{Sweet Giggles}

These two sweet friends have
been sharing stories
and many
sweet giggles.

{I borrowed this from Darby}

Fly Through Our Window - the account of our nest:

"The highest form of prayer is to the goodness of God… God only desires that our soul cling to him with all of its strength, in particular, that it clings to his goodness. For of all the things our minds can think about God, it is thinking upon his goodness that pleases him the most and brings the most profit to our soul. {Julian of Norwich}"

I love anything that would include "God" and "Profit to our soul". Because it is true goodness.

{Around my Town}

Horrible on the sinuses.
Easy on the eyes.

{Ahh, so many of you have inquired. . .}

 and the reason you inquire about this place is because it is a treasure trove! It runs a very very close race
with TJMaxx in my book.  It is Remember When by Kerwin's, the greatest sporting goods store! (:
Mrs. Sherry these precious lambs have a pig brother, and a cow sister.
And they are located in my most favoritest booth!  I love.love.love. everything this woman owns.
See that lamp?  Poor thing.  It is at home where she belongs now. . . with me.
And this frame. . . oh, the frame.  I.wanted.it.  It was a tad pricey.
I had my eye on it for a bit. . . it's gone.
So, if you know me, and you bought it, break it to me gently.
Those bunnies needed a special home too.
God love them, they got one.
Yep, that's it.
Buddy and I can ALWAYS cook up something good at Remember When.

P.S. Keep ya' paws outta my booth. lol!
P.P.S. The new lookin' stuff you are seeing is from Kade Laws (is that her name?) booth. . . she don't give it away though. lol!

{Welcome Friday. You are a good thing.}

Today I am cleaning a house for a dear friend, she
calls me on occasion to tidy up.  I have cleaned houses off and on since I was in
High School. And that has been a bit. . .so I am a cleaning professional.
The last time I cleaned for her, I peered out the window and the lady next door
was folding her clothes at the kitchen table. She was very neat and orderly, and for
some reason it looked extremely peaceful to me.
I folded my clothes at the dinner table for 2 weeks after that.  But, guess what?
It didn't prove to be a peaceful experience for me because I didn't put them away after
I folded them. . . so dinner time was a real joy.
Corn with a side of clean underwear please?
Napkins were real handy though.
So I went back to dumping them on the couch or bed.
I am glad spring break is here. I plan on planting. cleaning. painting this and that.
and .
of course.
Spending time with the kids.
I better get going.
These pictures are from my latest travels. . . to Fort Smith
(I didn't want you to think I had been on some exotic hiatus)
And if gas prices don't go down I wont even be scooting to Fort Smith as much.
That's okay though, I don't need to go anyways.
Welcome Friday.  You are a good thing.
