I like it.

  I like the old  fishing boat attached

to the back of it too. 

 I would've snapped it, but this was kind-of

a "drive-by shot", if you know what I mean.

{Sweet Little Guy}

He said, "But Mom my shoes were squeaky!" 

Little Guy took matters into his own hands. 

He sprayed his shoes down with WD-40. 

Apparently they squeak when he walks in our 

church nursery.

In Bible days

new-born babies were rubbed with salt and wrapped up in "swaddling clothes" - like 

wide bandages.  People believed that this would help a child's legs and arms grow straight. 

My desk at work is. . . messy.

Honestly, I like a messy desk.

I like all kinds of things and stuff around me.

I am a digger. I like to dig. 

I am not a big fan of stacks.

but I have alot of stacks.

I like to take the beach with me wherever I go.

{In My Next Life}

Last week Shaina invited me to lunch at one of my most

favoritest places.

My little hands found little shells. 

I love this place.

I drive thru and do my "Lake Lot Lookin" probably about. . . oh. . . I'd say. . .

about 3 times a week.

That figure might be a tad conservative. 

Water.Sand.Swing Sets. Pinic Tables. 

It's dreamy. 

And believe it or not. . . it's in Greenwood. 

But the great thing about it. . . you dont feel like you are in Greenwood. 

I think thats why I like it so much. (: 

The man above is the perfect picture of Sheer Determination.  It was so loud with

our crew the poor guy wasnt ever going to catch a fish, but he kept on trying.

I love that. . . Never Quit. . . just move on. And he inventually did move on down the bank a bit. 

Clayton was in Heaven the whole day.  He skipped rocks, played basketball,

and dug in the sand.

He had tears when we left. . . he's my boy.

I always cry when vacation is over.

(In my next life I will be on permanent vacation.by.the.water.) 

I will wear a big brimmed hat. 

and drive one of these.

{Saved, Baptized, and a Big Rig Driver}

Well, I got my kids up early, made them a big ole' breakfast, and then. . .

got them to school on time.

I was practicing for next weeks test.

I did well. I did well.

I didnt see her or her.

and I think maybe I was ahead of her.

Thank goodness I dont have to compete with her. . .I think her kiddos

probably always get to play outside, mine can only dream.

But I am ready now. Game on. Bring it Benchmark.

Oh yes, I even made a phone call to her!

In other news, Flat Stanley has returned from Virginia!

He went to visit some of my most favoritest people!

He had to leave a week before they found out if they were having a

Boy or Girl!

Bless his heart, but we told him as soon as we found out!

It's a girl! 

He got to drive a Big Rig. 

I think our Flat Stanley's, including Clayton's

(if you can remember his went to

 church at my sisters, her husband is a music minister in Little Rock),

could possibly be the only ones

that are saved, baptized, & have their CDL.

Good stuff.

We recently added a new "nursing mothers room" to our nursery. 

I seen these chairs and thought I couldn't buy them for sweeter people!

Guess who stopped by the nursery today??

Could it be. . . Mr. CC. . . Yes it is. . . .(he has NO clue he is all the buzzzz).

What to do today?

Kids are out of school, but I just didn't sleep a wink last night.

The Mr. was out looking for the missing boy, I started out in our bed, I would've gone

to the couch but it is covered in laundry (completely covered), so I  

ended up in Lily's bed. Which was fine because she was in our bed. Mercy.

I finally caught some zzzzz's but I really don't know what time it was.

So with all that being said I am off to a slow start this morning.

Good news is, I cleaned my entire house top to bottom yesterday.

Bad news?

That laundry on the couch. 

I am going to start with a. . .

Splash of cold water to the face.

Diet coke.

Banana.

Gym.

and.then.whatever.my.heart.desires.for.lunch.

Oh yes, the necklace is a lovely birthday gift from her.  Beach-E love to me.

and.

I want my friends to sign-up for the date night.

I will be calling you people.

I want us to sit together.

I noticed this friend already signed up. Good times.

Okay! I'm off to start my day. . . .even though it is already 9:54.
