{I Believe in the Gypsy Way}

Today was "Fun Thursday" for Lily and Clayton. . .
which meant "Fun Day" for Mom and Buddy.
My first stop ~ Sonic,
second stop ~ Keep it Gypsy.
We ordered Lily some pillows,
and had her a little white desk chair
upholstered for her birthday
and today I got to
pick it up!!

This little guy fell asleep
on the way there
so he cozies up on the leopard coach.
As soon as
I laid him down
my eyes moved . . .

here, and I seen this!

Was that mine?

Yes, it is was!

I love it all!
I didn't pick out anything
they did it all for me. . .
Carmen and Angela both have such talent.
Not to mention impeccable taste!

I was so thrilled,
I got Miss Jordan
(Carmen's Little Girl)
excited, too!!

I got both the
chair
&
desk
from
Odom's Wholesale
(a neat-o cheap place. . . and can be semi-scary).

I came home and put it all together.
I am so pleased with it.
I am in need of another box springs
to make the bed taller, but I will try to get one later.
I used the extra one
I had for
Buddy's bed.

Me & Mrs. Angela (is she not the most adorable!!???)

Thank you Miss Jordan for taking our picture.

I mentioned that I liked this sign and Mrs. Angela insisted that I just TAKE it!!!
Soooo, thank you Carmen for the wonderful bedding and thank you Angela for the Believe gift. . .
I BELIEVE
YOUR STORE IS
AWESOME!!!!.....
THAT IS
FOR
SURE!

{Football & Friends}

This week has been full for us.
Clayton, my big 3rd grader, started "pad camp".
He has been really nervous, really excited, really happy to start something new. We have also been packing up my dear friend Elaine.
So bittersweet.
She is so happy to start a new chapter of her life, but it does involve moving to Indiana.

Last night "the moving party" stayed at our house. We had the best time. The ladies made her bouquet for today. She has the most beautiful purple dress to wear.

While the ladies did flowers, the guys did laundry. They were so fascinated by our washer and dryer it was very comical . . . they stood and watched for the longest time. Funny, for an ob-gyn guy who delivers babies for a livin'! That's him bent down as close as he can get! Says he's never seen anything like it. . . I figured he'd seen it all, and then some!

This morning Elaine, of course, made breakfast.
Have any of you ever had her cookin'?
Oh my.
Its wonderful.

Wanda (Nurse & Joe's Wife) and Elaine

Around the table starting with orange shirt ~ Joe (doc), Chapple (lawyer/happy groom), Elaine (teacher/happy bride), Mr. Hobbs & I, Rob (traveling the U.S.). What did Rob experience in AR? A black widow spider and loading a u-haul in the rain/sun/humidity. . .we may never see him again.

Best Wishes Elaine.
I love you.

P.S. I guess you guys can tell I have been going down memory lane again. . .I have more older pics to share later.

{An odd assortment and various complaints}

I have been consumed since last Thursday with the most odd assortment of activities. All which have caused me to be really exhausted. We celebrated CB and HGB birthdays at Alma Water Park. Heidi Grace is Lily's bestest friend, and it has been awhile since we have seen them, so it was a nice day. Other than the crowd. You know I really dont like crowds, right? Alma Water Park was not the place for me to be Saturday. I think I complained the whole time to my poor sister.

On yet another note, after my Grandma passed (still miss you much) we were left the land that has been in our family for as long as I can remember. It is what I have been referring to as the Speck O' Farm . . . because we each have a 1/4 ownership therefore we all have a "speck" . . .
Mr. Hobbs learned how to drive a bulldozer for the first time and it just really made me a nervous wreck. I was so tense, I was grinding my teeth, and clinching my hands. It was just really not pleasant. Anyways, I found myself complaining on this day too.

Last but not least I have been packing up my dear friend Elaine Krogstad. E and I go back a ways and we kinda' have alot in common in certain ways, I wont go on and on, but I will miss her, and you know the strangest thing of all. She will eventually be moving very close to the Outer Banks. . . I found that very interesting since that particular coast line has been on my mind . . . and I bet if I thought about it for any length of time I would start complaining about being here instead of there. . .
I need to get some rest.

Welcome Home Shaina Meeker. I hope you had a blast.
My thoughts and prayers are with The Walker Family . . . so so sorry for your loss.

{Whats up?}

I know. I very rarely miss a post right? So what in the world have I been doing? Since I am sure you have been having trouble sleeping, right?

Well, I have been hopping from one yard sale to the next helping my friends. Mercy. It is a tiring job, but someone has to do it. In my past and most recent experiences typically the person "throwing" the yard sale is on the brink of a nervous breakdown, then I show up to "pre-shop", and I end up staying until 1AM to help price, sort, etc. Soooo, that's how I roll.

My Victims

Night 1 Elaine Krogsted ~ which I snagged some good reads and lawn chairs.

Night 2 Natalie Cabe ~ which I snagged some clothes, urns (yippee!), shoes, memory games, and plastic bugs for Buddy.

What else have I been doing?

Thinking about planting one of these . . .http://www.pumpkin-patch.com/growing.html

What else?

Dreaming about moving here . . .http://www.outerbanks.org/ Seriously.

What else?

Went to A.M.'s house and stocked up on. . . http://www.scentsy.net/

Because it is one of God's greatest gifts to women.

What else?

What else?

That's enough.

Talk later.

Love, Tonia
