{Spot-On}

Tonight I explained to my kids the discipled and discipling process. . .

It all started when I was talking to Carson about how I might miss his first baseball game. (I might not . . . I have no clue what time it starts!)

I told him I have Bible Study.

Clayton proceeds to ask why do I need to do that if I work in the nursery???

I explained to them that it is what a Christian is called to do . . . Be in a constant state of discipling others and being discipled.

Lily chimes in and says, "So we should always be teaching and being taught."

Spot-on.

It is my mission and hearts desire to raise kids that love and serve The Lord.

Even though it is hard to miss his game. . . I am trying to keep my eyes on eternity. . . in all aspects of my life.  Its not just baseball or sports that can change our eternal perspective!  Its anything! Anything at all!

 In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus tells us to go and make disciples   This was the last thing he said before He returned to Heaven. . . so. . .I am thinking. . . it is very important.

{Backyard Bible VBS Baseball}

Mission Simplify has begun! I took everything off the top of my cabinets. And instead of loving it. . . It looks like we are moving out. Soooo, I have a strict "Sleep on it" policy so that's what I am going to do.

I started back at the gym this morning and chained myself to the eliptical for 60 minutes. Yes. 1 hour. But 60 minutes sounds more intense. It's my plan. Mon-Fri 60 Blissful Eliptical Minutes.

Baseball has started and I am a happy camper. We are on the most laid back team and I love laid back and sports mixed!! We are practicing at a team members home, and many of the team members go to our church. So it's a lot like being at a Backyard Bible VBS. . . And my word y'all, you know I like anything that feels like church and friends mixed together!! Clayton is helping "coach" and I am thrilled. . . Him? Not so much. What is it with pre-teens. . . EVERYTHING is a complete put out?!?!?! Pllleeeeeaaaasssseeee! Get out there and play some catch!!

I ate lunch with a sweet friend today. She is building a new home so I took a tour! Love it! Her little girl is super excited about having a "drive-thru" window in her bedroom. . . And if she serves 1/2 Cut Tea I will be there!!!!

Last but not least, some eye candy from Pottery Barn.

{Butcher Block, BAM!}

Blogging from the phone again. . . This could absolutely be the greatest thing since sliced bread!
The only thing is I can't figure out how to put words in between pics. . . Do you know how?
So I will just briefly discuss my photos way up here!
I am trying to replace the rockers in our church nursery and I love the look of this mod rocker. Not for the littles but maybe the older toddlers. I love the fact it has no fabric on it since I am a complete germ-a-phobe. I will probably need to stick with the gliders for the rooms with crawlers and where there is much rockin' going on. Do you know how many times I have washed those in my 7 year Nursery Director career??? You don't want to know!
FYI Baseball Survival Meal Mode must include Butcher Block Casseroles. Y'all, you can't beat the price or the taste. They are homemade, really! They are! Just not by you. In your home. I usually get the Chicken Speggheti and the Mexican dip type casserole with some chips. Heat. Serve. Bam!
Couch hunting continues and Deans recieved the first round of Flexsteels new line. I am holding out to see all of it. They are supposed to have a tufted sofa on about 4 to 6 more weeks so I will keep you posted. . . The photos give you a glimpse of my identity crisis. . . Since everything in my house is dark. But it's my new thing. Simple. Crisp. Linen.
The last photo is some eye-candy from the Now and Then Shoppe in Ft Smith. One of the last perfect gift/antique stores of its kind in our area.
I could talk all night but guess I will shut my eyes. . . Morning comes quickly these days.
Love, Tonia

{This girl...}

Do you guys read Kelly's Korner?? Of course you do! Everytime I see more and more pictures of her dark hair. . . I wonder. Could it happen for me? I ❤ blonde. But I don't like the 4+ hours it takes to make it happen. . . Mmmm? Also, today she has mentioned these Bible Studies! I am on a serious (and prayerful) hunt for my next study . . . brace yourself. . . To LEAD!
Speaking of bracing yourself. . .I got a manicure!! Look! I got as crazy as I could on the color! Talk Later! Love, Tonia

P.S. This is my 1st attempt to blog from my phone! So pardon me if it looks strange on the computer. 😘

{The Magical Transformation}

 Tuesday. . . I haven't taken the time to seek out the MIA Memory Card. . .so. . .
 you guessed it!
 I'll just keep the
 2 weeks of Post-Spring-Break-Photos-Rolling. . .
 Things that are on my mind. . .
 I told my running partner this afternoon that I am giving my 2-week notice (I am smiling, but I am serious)!
I was temporarily insane to think that running in the winter was more of a challenge. . .this humidity has
got me digging my heals in the ground.  Misery.  Surely its not healthy for a person to stop breathing and feel faint? Surely??
 The Unglued Bible Study is winding down. . . only 2 weeks left! I am really going to miss it!
I have enjoyed leading it and I have learned much!  It have been a great experience and I am thankful.
 I am still a Couch-less Woman.  I am going through an identity crisis, I don't know if I am dark or light?
I have some inspiring photos to share, and that will clarify my issues. . . that hopefully aren't deep rooted!
 I am loving all the blooms and spring-weather!
 I envy girls who aren't afraid to cut their hair.
 I am going to start putting together some end-of-the-year-teacher-gifts.
I am going to hate to see my kids lose their teachers this year! So so sad.  .  .
 We have ate dinner out 2 nights in a row. . . and. . . .2 nights in a row our orders have been wrong.
It makes everyone so happy! (yes.I.am.joking.) They are thrilled with ketchup instead of mustard!
Oh, green beans taste like baked beans!! Just close your eyes!! Taste the magical transformation!
That is all folks. . .

{Sunshine & Toy Shops}

 I have decided I could share beach pictures until the end of time!
 I wanted to share a "tea staining" school project Sis
 completed for school. . . but my memory card is MIA.
 Soooo, its Monday and who
 doesn't need a little
 sunshine on
 a Monday!
 GiGi's is the happiest place on earth!
 This vacation was not short on fun for Lily!
 The boys went deep sea fishing and spent tons of time in the candy store, so
Sis seemed to always be available for pictures. . .and shopping.
Have a good day!
