{A Marsh Mellow Chimney}

Yesterday, was my Buddy's Day at Mrs Bakers to make Gingey Houses. It was, of course, the same time as my Bible Study & The Bee. . .but its okay. First stop was the bakery
for those lovely blue snowflakes you see.
(and a few other tasty treats).
And then off to make
our sweet little home made with
all sorts of candy & sprinkles.
Complete with a marsh mellow chimney.
Doesn't everyone need a marsh mellow chimney?
I think so.

U2-Peace on Earth lyrics

I've been on You Tube. . . again. Just stay with me. These are a few songs I cant get enough of at the moment.

{Little Hands ~ The Bee}

This morning little hands brought
me a special picture with a
special message. . .
I love you.
In other news, Clayton was in a Spelling Bee.
Are spelling bees nerve racking?
I felt like I would cringe my shoulders and nod my head with each correct
letter, but I know that I wasn't actually doing that in fear of
breaking some sort of Spelling Bee Rule. Oooo. Scary. Very.
Brad & I had alot of fun practicing words with Clayton.
He did real well, but the word that
stumped him was
L-i-g-h-t-e-n-i-n-g.
We accidentally left out the -e-.
But, hey, that's okay!
He will always be a Champion in my book.

{A Gift}

Have I shown you my top hat atop my washer?
It ads some festivity to the laundry room.
I can always use some Cheer in my laundry room, and I don't mean the soap.
Sweet little bedtime girl showed me her
Christmas list she made at school today. I also adored her library book choice for the day.
She was sure to point out the dolphins swimming in the ocean to me.
Precious to be known and understood by your children.
The picture below is what I would like to bottle and keep forever.
Sweet smile.
Pink curlers in hair with no insecurities.
Toothless smile.
Reading about little animals curled up at bedtime beside their mommies.
Happy to be alive and spending time with me.
Speaking of bottling things up. . .
Clayton used to ask me to strap his sword
on his belt like my
Sweet Buddy did today.
One thing I know for sure about Motherhood. . .
each day with your child is a gift.

{Tonight I witnessed. . .}

the most sweet, pure, & precious thing.
A Father playing the piano.
A Daughter singing.
Angels were singing (and listening) in Heaven.
For sure.

{The Big Guy}

I am really glad it is Friday. 2 of my 3 have sleepovers (God Bless us all!). . . and, well, I am just almost giddy. How Rude (as I gasp for air). . . not to get them out-of-my-hair! I am just excited they will have some fun.
It has kinda' been all businessy around here lately with dr appts, and such.
I have a weekend full of Mom-Taxi-Duties going & taking here & there,
but then on Sunday I will hear my kids sing about our Sweet Jesus
(which reminds me I need to get Lily an apron. . .quickly like), and it will be a precious sight.
I Love Burning Candles.
I Love Christmas Cards.
and. . .
because it's bright & cold outside I shared some holiday cheer
with The Mr.'s "Big Guy" (since he's in the garage and all).
Talk More Later. . .

{Tonight my friend. . .}

Rachel says to me, "I can always tell when you are really busy because you don't blog." And.She.Would.Be.Correct. Just a tad. . . busy.
So, for your reading enjoyment I have a few thoughts to share.
First, I should thank you for reading.
Geez, you are really cool for coming back for more.
I have been waiting to hang a wreath, no I take that back, I have been waiting for a screw to be drilled into the top of my door (so I wouldn't have to use a wreath hanger ~ because I pledged to our painter that I never would. . . I think I even said, "Scouts Honor."), so I could hang wreath with some nifty fishing line. But.That.Just.Never.Was.Going.To.Happen.
And then, like an angel ascending from the heavens, I seen a clear wreath hanger with a rubber door protector doom-ma-floch-che at Yeagers.
Great!
In.My.Basket.
Wreath.ON.DOOR.
Hooray!
This Aromatique Christmas Scent is wonderful, and what makes it even better it is
from my friend Miranda (a-runner-friend).
My little sparkly snowman is cold outside, but he keeps on shining!
Don't you love a positive attitude!
I do.
The main reason for this completely random post is to share the comic relief I
received from Darby.
She was saying they were, "Business up front (white lights) and party inside (colored lights)!!!
That is so us!!!
Business up front!
Party in the back!

{My Runner Friends}

Saturday we woke bright and early and headed to the
Chamber Yule Run. (not before we got donuts)
At the time I put this on my calendar I didn't
consider Drill Weekend (I planned to attend the run alone), so the kids were thrilled.
We all had a good time though, and seeing the runners cross the finish line is just
fun, fun, fun.
(I mean it is fun as an onlooker, the runners look like they were in much pain)
I have a few runner friends.
and
If I wasn't so tired I would tell you about them.

I will share with you what they all have in common. . .
They go to bed super early.
I will share more later.
I.am.intrigued.

{Merry Christmas to Me}

Hello Lovelies!
I hate to ruin the surprise of my Christmas Cards (what were my Christmas Cards),
but they all are so
wonderful and special
in their own
way I couldn't keep them from you. . . you'll see.

Take these two for example, Lily trying to escape the sweet deceiving snuggle from her brothers
I do believe she ended up on the ground. . . you are correct in your thinking. . . they didn't care.

Oh yes, theres more. . . I've got closed eyes. . .
Wind blown hair. . .
Looking to the left. . .

Single shots. . .
Tears. . . Tears. . . more tears.
Frowns. . .
Strong holds. . .
Did I mention closed eyes?
I must say they did improve a little, but tomorrow we will
load up. and. I . will. turn. these. 3. blessings. over. to. a. professional.

and. I. will. sit. back. and. relax.
Merry Christmas to me.
